NURS FPX 6416 Assessment 2

Memo

NURS FPX 6416 Assessment 2: Felicitations, everyone! I serve as the design director for the nursing informatics specialist enterprise at Cleveland Clinic. I am also to give an overview of the performance plan for the forthcoming design to upgrade our Practice Management Software (PMS) at Cleveland Clinic. This action aims to ameliorate patient safety and healthcare issues by streamlining our current system (Tucker et al., 2020). Your engagement and support are vital to the success of this design, and I would like to outline the plan’s crucial factors to ensure clarity and alignment.

To enhance patient safety and ameliorate healthcare issues at Cleveland Clinic, our primary thing is to apply a new PMS system. This shot comprises two pivotal milestones: system evaluation and selection and the integration of real-time access to comprehensive case records. It will compromise the following three ways. Firstly, the informatics team and design titleholders will conduct a needs assessment, gathering feedback from stakeholders and end users to identify system conditions and preferences. Later, stakeholder engagement will be prioritized, involving meetings to address enterprises, gather input, and foster steel-heft for the new system (Khatoon, 2020). These processes will unfold over the first four weeks, ensuring a thorough and effective transition.

Simultaneously, our end is to enhance healthcare issues by espousing validation-predicated practices and optimizing workflow effectiveness. This involves two milestones, like developing training paraphernalia and modules to grease staff education on the new PMS system and validation-predicated practices. Also, two processes will be followed in a way. A performance monitoring system will be executed to track pivotal healthcare issues and workflow effectiveness criteria. Regular reviews of performance criteria will give openings for feedback and coaching to staff members, inciting continuous improvement in patient care delivery (Akbarzadeh et al., 2022). The informatics team and design titleholders will execute these processes collaboratively over weeks five to eight, incubating our charge to optimize care delivery and functional effectiveness.

I propose using change operation strategies analogous to effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive training to grease buy-in and raise awareness of the information system change. Stakeholders should communicate regularly with their associates about the design’s pretensions, milestones, and processes, addressing any enterprises and soliciting feedback to ensure their perspectives are considered throughout the performance process. Also, furnishing ongoing training and support will help ease the transition to the new system and empower staff to confidently embrace the change (Arabi et al., 2022). By fostering a culture of openness, collaboration, and readiness for change among stakeholders, we can ensure a smoother and further successful performance of the information systems change design. Your active participation and support are invaluable as we work together to achieve our organizational pretensions and deliver exceptional care to our community linked with Cleveland Clinic.

Overview

Short summary: Upgrade the Practice Management System (PMS) at Cleveland Clinic to ameliorate patient safety, speed access to records, reduce documentation crimes, and free clinician time for direct care. Plan = 8 weeks of phased exertion (conditions assessment → data migration/integration → training → workflow optimization → performance monitoring) led by the informatics team and design titleholders.
